Jey Uso: JoJo Offerman Texted Me About The Fireflies At WWE Backlash

Jey Uso says Bray Wyatt’s widow JoJo Offerman reached out to him after she saw the fireflies during his entrance at WWE Backlash France.

At WWE Backlash France, Jey Uso challenged Damian Priest for the World Heavyweight Championship. Uso had an electric entrance at the show. It was made even more special by fans using the fireflies for his entrance. In a tweet, Jey Uso dubbed himself “The Yeeter of Worlds” in response to the fireflies. Fans have continued to use fireflies to pay tribute to Bray Wyatt after he passed away.

Speaking with Tim Battle and Eli on The Battleground Podcast, Jey Uso was asked about the atmosphere at WWE Backlash France and the fans bringing out the fireflies. He noted that Jojo Offerman texted him about it.

“I think mostly I was validated [with how] Jojo, Bray Wyatt’s wife had texted me and said how much she was emotional watching,” Jey Uso said. “She saw clips of it on YouTube. That let me know right there, alright, I’m gonna keep it. I hope it sticks with me, man. I never asked for it. They did it, and I just want to keep it with me now.”
